Katherine Kirsch, LCSW

About Katherine:

Katherine is currently an LCSW and a PhD student at the LSU School of Social Work. She is passionate about educating the public on the effects of Adverse Childhood Events and developing systemic changes in policy and practice toward trauma-informed care. She utilizes EMDR, CBT, DBT, and play therapy frequently in her treatment approach.

• Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Louisiana State University
• Master of Social Work Degree from Louisiana State University School of Social Work
• PhD Candidate, Louisiana State University School of Social Work
