Please forgive us as our website undergoes some construction!
Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat a number of mental health disorders and provide a neutral ground to children, adults, families, and couples. We work with all ages and children from 2 years and up.
Our focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan.
We promise to be there for you every step of your journey. Our goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both couples and individuals and we create a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
"Melissa's support has been the calm in my storm. I have felt unconditional and unwavering support on my good days and my bad, and I know now that I'm never alone because I always have a place to turn." - <Name redacted>, Walker LA, age 36
"My 12-year-old granddaughter and 13-year-old grandson have been seeing Melissa and Dedric for awhile. They are caring and loving people at Daybreak who truly want to help families. They care about their clients welfare as well as emotions and personal issues they may have. They're not there for the money. They are there for their clients." - <Name redacted> Denham Springs LA
"My 18-year-old daughter goes to Daybreak for therapy. They have been the most helpful to her, and to me, since she started therapy at four years old. They really understand her! The therapy is comprehensive." - <Name redacted>, Baton Rouge LA
"I love how quickly we saw changes in my foster daughter. Jackee didn't waste any time. She started making a difference right away!" - <Name redacted>, Denham Springs LA

"The first thing that comes to mind is that they saved my life. But on a lighter note, the first thing I noticed when I came is how relaxed it is. Some may not like that, but for me it made me immediately comfortable. It has that relaxed, truly no-judgement feel. There's a warmth here that a lot of therapist's offices lack." - <Name redacted>, Denham Springs LA, age 36
