Josie Bridges, LCSW, Clinical Director

About Josie:

Josie is our Clinical Director and an LCSW. Josie is a Certified Child and Adolescent Trauma Professional (CATP), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), a Certified Child and Adolescent Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS-CA), and a Certified Clinical Child and Adolescent Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP-CA). A former school social worker, she is passionate about utilizing neuroscience and trauma informed care to support young people’s emotional, behavioral, and social development. She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and families and uses play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness in her therapeutic practice. Josie specializes in early intervention with our littlest patients (ages 2+) and child trauma/attachment work. Josie is actively working towards her certification in TraumaPlay, which you can learn more about here. When not working, she enjoys taking long walks with her therapy dog in training, Winnie!  

Education and Training:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Louisiana State University
• Master of Social Work Degree from Louisiana State University School of Social Work
